There is a tendency in the digital age to view the world as a series of packets. The attacks on September 11, 2001 have been bundled into YouTube videos, PBS documentaries have been pirated and then freely distributed online, and now with the release of The Attacks Of 26 11 movie torrent free download, we see an anonymous group of activist hackers post footage purporting to show life inside Guantanamo Bay Prison Camps for detainees. It is an eerie irony that one of the most potent symbols of 9/11 — Al Qaeda — has released this footage themselves. It is unclear what motives they had for doing so or why they might be interested in such a poignant piece of propaganda that could incite extremism around the globe. But it is likely that they were trying to inspire the same kind of action that took place in New York City on September 11, 2001, where people took to the streets in response to what they had seen on television. Perhaps this was the only way these men could be freed from Guantanamo Bay. The video consists of various sequences of black-and-white footage that appear to show then-current detainee procedures at Guantanamo Bay Prison Camp (GTMP). Names, then and now, are given for each detainee as well as a brief description as to their number and the date they were brought into custody. The video footage itself, however, is difficult to state for certain its authenticity at this time. This has led to much debate as well as speculation regarding which military base is depicted. The video opens with a clip that was allegedly shot using a helmet-mounted camera by an intern working at GTMP who must have smuggled it out of the facility after leaving his watch post. The reason for this suspicion is that the man's voice says, "This is very important so don't tell anyone." The next video shows an individual who appears to be addressing another detainee, apparently trying to persuade him about prayer and repentance. He mentions the Qur'an and quotes Quranic verses referring to believers submitting their wills to God. The next brief scene shows an unknown individual speaking with another. He is supposedly explaining some of the Qur'anic tenets to his detainee, who appears to be listening intently. He describes how it is necessary for believers to submit themselves completely to God, the greatest of all intelligent beings, and that God's message is clearly defined in the Qur'an. As he says this, the individual repeats loud enough for the detainee to hear "Allah Akbar" ("God is Greatest"). An armed guard enters this interlude and removes "the sheet" off of one prisoner's face, striking him with his baton. The guard tells the man that he must return to his cell immediately. One of his fellow guards then enters and is told by the guard that he was not supposed to be where he was, and that they need to know who was filming these videos and how long they had been there. The next short scene shows an individual "speaking softly" to a detainee as another guard stares into the camera with a sign that says "Investigative detention." The detainee is said to be in solitary confinement at this time. He appears injured as the guard states, "Get him out of solitary" as he points at the individual on screen. It is unclear if this is for his own protection or so that the cameras could not record anything more about him. cfa1e77820
